  Text Box: Hey. My name’s Jamie Francis, but all my mates call me Jay. I’m 13 years old ( nearly 14 ) and I’m the drummer of Silent Echo. I suppose I should tell you how I came to playing the drums. So ok. At home and while listening to music, I did nothing but air drumming, I couldn’t stop. I’d always thought of learning the drums but never really thought twice of the idea. I really started to realise that I had a lot of rhythm and decided drums were the instrument for me. I then started lessons at school and loved it. A few weeks later Dan (Lead guitarist) thought we should jam together in the music room at school, and it all followed from then on, and more people joined us and the band formed.  My favourite songs….. Well I love all rock, but if I had to choose…. I’d pick Aerials (SOAD) and All my life (Foo Fighters).
